About

A creative and collaborative process.

Our process is designed to transform your needs, preferences and style into a detailed design plan — that guides sourcing, material selection, furnishings, and installation.

01 Discovery

The discovery phase sets the stage for the rest of your project. During this phase, our team works with you to understand your needs, preferences, and design goals. This involves a series of meetings gather information about your lifestyle, budget, and design vision. We also review any existing design plans and conduct site visits to assess the space and understand its potential.

The discovery phase is our opportunity to get to know you and your project, and allows us to process all of the necessary information to create a successful design. This is a collaborative process that involves a lot of communication to ensure the final design meets your needs and reflects your vision.

Finally, our team uses this phase to present initial design concepts and gather preliminary feedback to help refine the design direction before moving into the more focused schematic design phase.

02 Schematic Design

Using the vision we develop during the discovery phase, our team will create a series of design sketches and diagrams to illustrate the proposed layout, circulation patterns, and overall aesthetic of the space. These sketches may include floor plans, elevations, and renderings to help you visualize the design. We also present a range of materials, finishes, and furnishings options for you to consider.

The schematic design phase is typically iterative where we present several options and revisions for your feedback and approval.

03 Design Development

During the design development phase, our team takes the approved schematic designs and begins to refine them into a more fully realized plan.

This is also the phase where we finalize a detailed project budget and timeline. We also create a detailed project specification document, which outlines all of the materials, finishes, and furnishings that will be used in the project, along with any special instructions or requirements.

04 Installation

With the final, approved plans, we will begin project installation. This involves coordinating contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to schedule work and to ensure that the work is in alignment with the approved plans.
